Finally… finally… finally after a long wait, I had Chicken Tikka Masala (extra spicy Indian style).
Today was a long day but it was quite impressive. I was able to do a lot of work in a lot less time. I found 1 hour straight focus time today. And was able to wrap up most of the work. PRs were going quickly and getting approved. My mind was quite clear of the end goal. The fingers were just running smoothly on the keyboard. All and all it felt like the VARUN is back.
So, I worked late today. And at the end of the day, I was quite hungry.
On top of that, I had this craving for chicken tikka masala today. I searched for the closest restaurant that serves this dish and I found one – Spice Of India.
I directly went there and ordered a balti. Chicken Tikka Masala Balti with Garlic Naan and Steamed Rice.
If I have to review the taste – I would say, didn’t felt like at home. It was nowhere close to what I wanted it to be. But given the fact that it’s 7500km away from home, it was a good compromise š .
I hope I will be able to maintain this focus tomorrow as well.
